Of course you have to go, don't think about it twice. This is a historical monument, located in Montazah, it's a must go!

This palace is the most beautiful building I have seen from the outside, it is a piece of art unmatched in my opinion. Unfortunately it is not open to the public since it is used for the government foreign guests. However, the gardens in front of the palace are open to the public and are very nice and well kept.

Not being a guest of state I have not had the privilege of being housed here. It is a fantastic building but sadly can only be viewed from the outside. However, Montazah Gardens are well worth a visit anyday.

This was part of our tour of Alexandria. This palace is not open to the public but the surrounding grounds, the outside of the palace and the views from there are all very nice, and relaxing.

This was the palace of king Faroukh, though we cannot visit it inside, only from the outdoor gates, unfortunately, because it must be beautiful inside too, surrounded by the astonishing, peaceful gardens. It's easy going to, not expensive the entrance I mean, and you profit to go around the gardens...

An architecture masterpiece but you will not be allowed inside! It is closed and only used a guest palace for presidential guests!

Located in montazah royal gardens. The building from outside is really beautiful but unfortunately nobody is allowed to get inside. I was enjoy my self by sitting in the garden overlooking the blue sea.

The palace was once the main residence of King Farouk of Egypt. Today the palace and its gardens are a property of the Egyptian presidency and are not open for the public. However, the palace is nice to see from outside and is nice for taking pictures.

it is located in the Montaza area which has a special gate and only accessible for fees per person. Around $2 per person and the same for the car to enter the gate.

King Farouk's Palace in Alexandria is a beautiful building. The tall rounded archways and the imposing size make for an impressive sight. Approaching the King's Palace you pass through the large public park called Montazah Palace Gardens. This used to be the gardens of the palace but is now open to the public to use. Lots of palm trees and... More
