The artworks are great, I could have stayed there for a whole day, but the lighting is poor (you have to move in order for the lights to open, and keep on moving if you want to have some light).

There is a sizeable collection of classic Romanian paintings, lead by a Grigorescu collection. I was particularly impressed with the sculpture pieces by Oscar Han, and Paciurea. I thought the museum being very good, well beyond my expectations.

You can admire numerous beautiful paintings of Grigorescu, Luchian, Tonitza, Aman, Andreescu, Pallady, Petrascu, Baba, Steriadi, Sirato, Ghiata, Tuculescu... sculptures of Oscar Han, Jalea, Paciurea and many many others...
