Had to find the street............and it IS easy to find and definitely NOT out of the way. On one occasion we went in ONE direction.......and on another occasion, we went in the OTHER direction. So.....there IS a purpose to Rope St.

Very plain street, very narrow, but built for a purpose, so interesting and intriguing! Part of the Brasov tour, and a must do!

Interesting spot. It would be even more interesting if you visit small museum in the end of this street and read all history about it.

Neat road and museum at end. Easy walk from square. Def worth seeing old architectural structures along way.

Why not right? I went in AM - No one was there. It was charming in between homes on way to cable car or black church/merchant square, so why not.

I expected more from this street. Everyone told me I should not miss it. And it is just a tiny street.

Yes, this street, ( if you can call it that ) is more of a novelty attraction rather than a bona-fide medieval must see site. Nevertheless, many tourists do visit it because it is so cute. Rope Street is the narrowest street in the city...More

Narrowest street in Europe. Fun for group photo's or a sweet romantic kiss with your spouse. We walked this three times to cut through from other streets and each time I had to stop & pause while cutting through.
