I would highly recommend a visit to the tourist info place in Sibiu. We spoke to the incredibly helpful Maria who answered all our questions and made helpful suggestions. She was fab!
Maria recommended the Sibiu walking tour app, which was brilliant. With free wi-fi in the main parts of Sibiu old town, anyone can use it.

Not much here except a map that they give you. No leaflets available. Best to research on line and get the info this way.

Located in a beautiful building in Piata Mare, this museum is easy to find. The staff are friendly and helpful. She showed me in the map where I could buy ticket for my transport to Signisoara.
Inside their office are beautiful exhibits of stained glasses, on the right side of the lobby.

Large TIC with plenty of information in several languages, tour booking and an excellent free street map of the centre of Sibiu.

Every morning 10am, right outside the tourist information departs a tour of Sibiu old city. The tour costs 9euro per person, for about 1.5-2 hours. The English speaking guide didn't show up that morning, so Marios, the German speaking guide, took his place. Marios is a great guide even outside his "Comfort zone ". His stories are interesting, the tour is highly recommended!

We left our hearts in Sibiu. It is the most beautiful, helpful And friendly city. Every stone is placed with soul. Every flower is expressed with love. We can’t wait to return in order to explore the area further. Our utmost respect goes out to the beautiful Romanian/Hungarian people that formed this beauty.

if you want to find shows, events of all kinds - movies, concerts, jazz clubs, folk music, old music, etc. about accommodation, restaurants and sights, it is the most suitable place

Friendly enough people working there and I got some free handouts. Other things for sale. Probably get as much from your hotel so slightly disappointing.
