I was visiting this museum in december 2016. A large colection of art and a show of old time stile of living. no regrets spending 2 days trough it . No words can describe the beauty of the castle.

The staff was nice and polite. It took us an entire day to visit 4 locations of the museum, but it was a pleasant activity.

Worth the cost of entrance. It's a lot smaller than most European galleries but has some interesting pieces, notable Dutch paints. I particularly enjoyed the buildings itself and most of the furniture pieces.

A very large collection of art - one of the biggest for ist time and in this area. Unfortunatly not presented in a style easy to access for todays generation.

We had a wonderful experience, the gallery is extremelly beautiful and organized, for me it looked like a combination between Versailles and Petit Palais, very beautiful and somehow surprising to find it in a small town. If you are in Sibiu visit it, the complexity and diversity of the exponats will satisfy all tastes.

This was my first visit in Sibiu, and also to the museum. The fee i can say its ok, not to much. The lady from the counter was very nice. So i started to visit, and i was walking along the room, i can say that i was shocked when i sow the paints, the rooms and all the furniture.... More

The museum is really rich in its treasures; the Romanian art gallery is delightful. We have the tendency to neglect our local treasures, always in search for foreign jewels; well here you are reminded to appreciate treasures closer to your heritage. The European art gallery introduces you in the atmosphere of lost luxurious eras, an interior atmosphere in the late... More

Even if it is the 3rd time when we visit the museum, we discovered a lot of new paintings and a very nice Romanian Gallery.

The old estate of the Brukenthal family turn museum and housing some of their collection of art and other Romanian, French and Italian pieces of art. Worth taking a couple hours to check out. Sit in the garden before or after enjoying a coffee.
