I love this small but charming museum. Besides many not so well known pieces, there are some masterpieces of Flemish painters, and some really nice, big classical paintings of Romanian painters. Really worth seeing, from a historical and cultural point of view.

First of all, please visit this museum. It is lovely and has nice art, I especially liked the Romanian exhibition. Watch out though, the way you move about can be a bit confusing. For the most part you follow a circle and finish where you...More

There is something special looking at 15c art works that you can literally touch. A refreshing change to sterile galleries around the world. Some really important artworks in a lovely setting showing that Sibiu was an important Town Worth a visit.

We didn't see the cartography, lapidarium or plaster casts galleries. Very nicely displayed paintings and artifacts. Good to be able to see 15c paintings up close and not behind glass.

Not a bad museum. Interesting paintings and clock devices. A small asian collection of artefacts. you need to pay extra for a collection of "treasures". Nice collection of rifles. The building itself is beautiful. Overall - not a bad museum.

We only visited the Romanian art gallery at this museum. It was an interesting experience, as the European art collection is right next to the Romanian one but if you have not paid to enter the former, you are obviously not entitled to see the...More
