The Cathedral is right in the centre of the city and it stands tall and proud, when greeting the visitors. Inside, I've seen some colorful, artistic stained glasses. It's worth to see, it's simple but in the same time sacred and spectacular.

We spent a week in varna with kids. Had a great time. However this is not a place to spend time. A neglected cathedral from the outside and very simple inside. There are many other nicer parta in varna.

Wasn’t sure at first if it was open to the public but a side door with a thick heavy red velvet curtain revealed a way in. There was possibly another entrance I missed. It’s quite lovely inside with giant frescoes. Don’t miss the little fundraising...More

The building is spectacular, insided and out. The walls are covered with paintings, from the floor to the roof. Many worshipers came to light candles and say a private prayer. Nice peacefull corner for quite reflection, even for non-believers.

One of the biggest landmarks in town, we did not have the chance to look inside but it is stunning from outside

This cathedral is free to visit. It’s a beautiful orthodox church with a lot of wall paintings. When we visited this church there was a ceremony going on. The children really liked it.

We went on a Sunday morning. A true spiritual experience. The choir was so wonderful and the locals add an authentic element. The cathedral is well kept with beautiful art and wall drawings.

Friday evening arrival from the airport and the first sigh was the night lights of the cathedral. The taxis around are making the picture more yellowish at that time.
