Plenty to see and do, and free to walk round although you pay for most of the attractions. I would have scored it higher except it has animal related attractions and I’m a vegan.

A lovely area of cultivated land alongside the Black Sea coast and right next to the city centre. Plenty of eating places near the beach. Several things to see and do within the park including the naval museum, the zoo, and the small aquarium. The highlight for me was the pantheon - a huge and impressive war memorial statue at the heart of the garden. Well worth a walk through.

A beautiful park next to the sea with a wide range of areas.
Some floral displays.
Water areas.
Small zoo.
Very small aquarium.
avoided the dolphinarium due to ethical feelings.
Range of statues to explore.
Nice place to keep out of the sun and stop for drinks and food.
We're play parka for children too.

I have been visiting Varna for almost 20 years, sometimes up to three times each year. Whatever season I visit the Seaside Garden never disappoints. The colours in spring and summer are mesmerising followed by warm autumn and winter colours.
Beautiful well maintained borders surrounded by statues and monuments reflect the history and culture of Bulgaria.

I've been to the Sea Garden numerous times in the past years, most recently in September 2022. It's a very big park, you can ride a bike there, there are many places to eat, rest or just watch the sea. It's great place, the only negative think is that certain areas are not very clean and smell bad, also not a lot of public toilets.

A great idea to create throughout the years this immense green oasis right above the sea side walk. It provides for the fresh air we all need and for a variety of distractions for all ages and tastes. Had some lovely walks through it, both during the day and in the evenings and appreciated how clean and well kept it is.
Highly recommended!

The Sea Garden, or formally the Seaside Park is the Bulgarian port city of Varna's largest, oldest and best known public park, also said to be the largest landscaped park in the Balkans.

Is there car parking? If there is a cost is it easy to use for English with no Bulgaria language? Thanks

There is car parking at the very far end but it's unlikely you would find it
Paying to park is not easy if you don't understand Bulgarian
Often you buy a. Ticket from a shop scratch off the time and put in in the window but you need to know what to ask for
The locals know where to park for free and mostly that will be full
A lot of Bulgarians do speak English so if you do see parking it's likely that just asking someone for help will be ok
But did not see just open car parks near the sea gardens

its free but in the summer the noddy train runs along it
its a nice walk but along one what I do is walk along the sea front way down then turn up in to the sea gardens and walk back to the centre that way
or do it the other way around

Hi, does anyone know if the little train is running around the park at the moment? If so, can you get on at one end and off the other end or is it a round trip? Lastly, does anyone know how much it costs? Thank you.
