If you like history , you must visit. It has a special place into the history of Europe. And the government is taking care to restore it.

Historical, lacked interaction so you end up just wandering around the stadium but is well preserved and in the centre of Plovdiv. Beautiful!

A proper little Roman theatre breaking up the monotony of a typical modern city centre. Great atmosphere at night although most of the orchestra/arena has been subsumed by a restaurant. The sign specifically prohibiting smoking, hot and cold food, pets and firearms is most amusing!
