Located near Plovdiv,in Asenovgrad, the fortress is a must. It's a beautiful place. We stopped there on our way to the Bachkovo Monastery. You can park uphill, near the fortress. The parking costs 1,5 lv. You should definitely have a comfortable pair of shoes.
