We were all disappointed if honest... having been told it was 'a must see' we all came away feeling very glad we made sure we saw everything else in wonderful Plovdiv and only just had time to fit this museum in.

Once again have cash, the formidable lady at the ticket office does not accept card payment. The house is interesting and well laid out with English translations throughout. The gardens are small but somewhere to sit and plan your next step.
