We visited on a perfect April day. It’s quite a walk but there are breathtaking views at the top. There are no shops or anywhere to buy refreshments so you need to remember to take them with you. Definitely one to visit if you are...More

The climbing is nice and you can choose to take the steps or the road! I took the steps on my way up and the road on my way down to avoid any problem with my knees! The panorama on a clear sky day is...More

We have done this walk many times. It’s nice taking the steady climb to the top of the hill as the view from the top is great where you can view the whole of Plovdiv. There are several ways up and down, enjoy.

We really enjoyed the walk up to the hill. When you reach the top, you can ser the Aleksandar II monument and the statue of the communist soldier. And of course, you have a stunning city overview.

Really worth a trek up. Lots of routes up the hill - slopes and steps. The view up the top is really wonderful, easy to spend a lot of time there - but remember it is high up, the climb will make you sweaty but...More

I love doing things the locals do when I go someplace, so I was told by Slow Tours to buy a beer or two and catch a sunset at the top of one of the hills. This one in particular has a very nice view...More

Despite the heat, we walked up to see this monument. There is some controversy about it, but it plays a huge role in the city's AND the country's history. There isn't much to do on the way up - it is mainly shaded on the...More
