Great exhibitions.Love the building style of Old Plovdiv.Upon entering you are greeted by massive-wood interior and quite weird staircase. You can easily spend about 30 minutes inside.

This is a small but really nice museum. It shows mostly exhibits from the time, when bulgaria was occupied by the osmanic empire. So a lot of historical things, uniforms, weapons and things from everyday life during that period. I liked this museum, because it helps to understand the history and the self-conception of Bulgaria. Besides, the building is really... More

Today it hosts an exhibition of the History Museum about the Bulgarian National Revival. It covers that period by presenting a rich collection of original objects,... More

Very interesting museum. We spent abut 1 hour strolling through the rooms and exhibits. The building's interior is made of wood - note the interesting staircase base. There's a patio which allows for nice photos of the building.
