The mosque itself is like any other however the inside is decked out a little more exquisitely. The area around the mosque is nice and quiet. The advantage is that this mosque as compared to the others in this place has the perfect vantage viewpoint...More

There are several mosques in Mostar open to the public, and this is in the central part of the old City and well worth a visit. The architecture is most interesting as are the paintings and glasswork inside. For a small extra fee one can...More

Pay the €6 and get your camera ready as the views from the top of the minaret on Stair Most are excellent. As per other reviews, the stairs to the top of the minaret are dark, narrow and very difficult to navigate past someone coming...More

We visited Mostar and fell in love with the city. We saw signs for the mosque advertising the best views of the bridge, they were right. We climbed to the top of the minaret and it's beautiful. It cost €6 each.

The mosque interior is beautiful, with colourful stained glass windows and a Turkish red carpet. The best part, however, is walking up a narrow minaret to get a panoramic view of Mostar and the Old Bridge (see photo). I was surprised how few people were...More

I love the small size and relative simplicity of this mosque. Entrance to the mosque costs €3 and €3 extra if you want to climb up the minaret. Your entry fee also allows you to go into the little garden which provides a wonderful view...More
