I wonder if this museum is actually just forced to be open because it received grants as there isn’t much on display apart from a few artefacts ( the receptionist was too unmotivated to explain much about museum, so not even sure if it continued...More

I came to this small museum with a guide who had lived through the war in Mostar and provided commentary for the normally-silent short film on the destruction of Stari Most during the war and its reconstruction afterwards. She also explained many of the recreations...More

Museum was long on generalized praises for the natural beauty of Herzegovina and its local lore, but maddeningly vague on historical details and context to explain its exhibits. Museum consists of only four exhibit rooms. Audio handsets worked well for providing English language narration. No...More

The Museum of Herzegovina is a compact museum that display artefacts from the local life over the centuries. It's compact and located in an old building a bit aside from the center.

You watch a 5 minute video which shows the history of the bridge, then you see the museum which is very small but for the price you pay it's fair. A good way to kill 30 minutes.

Small but interesting museum. Don't expect fancy museography. Artefacts and pictures from different time periods are displayed with informative comments (in Bosnian and English). If you're interested in the history of the Balkans but you're not familiar with it at all, you may need complementary...More

This is a small museum for 2.50€. Great views from the top of the bridge and shops. Below they have films. A nice stop for a few minutes.
