One of the younger parks in the town.It is located in the hart of the new part of Niš ( Bulevar Nemanjića= , but not so far away from the down town.It is veary easy to found by car ( about 15 min) , with public bus ( take bus marked with DUVANIŠTE or Bulevar Nemanjića name ) or with foot ( about 30 min from the town centar)
There was agricultural cplace in the past, and long time when Bulevard born there was agricultural place. In first time was plan to make there new centar of Niš-new theatre, shops, ... In the early 90 s zears of 20 cent. on this place was organized miting in the time of Slobodan Miloševič and people mostly from all town, workers from factory...leaders from its time wos there. After that miting there was trampled turf.
Not so long ago , after that ,park was born there.
Nice park with beautiful trees who gives pleasent shadows. Nice pavement, grass,...benches, candelabras,...it become one nice urban park. And step by step park got new contents with cafe bars, restaurants around...fountains...the new big church st tzar Constantin and his mother Jelena.( design of church was made by our famoust architects Jovan and Jelena Mandić but ) ..playground for children...I the begining of August there are music concerts and time to time many interesting events...organization for Ortodox New Years Eve,Christmas...or in the spring time festivals for children etc...
Near are tennis courts, primary school, Municipality Medijana, market, police station..
The park are open all day and night (there are no some fence or locked gates).Of course cafe bars, restorant..church have opening time.

I call this a "walk through" park because many people just walk through the park to get where they're going. The park does have a playground for children. There are plenty of benches and it's a good sized park, but average at best. The Church of Holy Emperor Constantine and Empress Hellen is located at the park. The highlight of the park is it's surrounded with restaurants and cafes.

I will say you can skip this park as an attraction as it's just a normal park ..more than likely used by the residence in this sub urban area of Nis.
If you choose to visit it will be perfect just to relax or play with your dogs/kids or just sit and enjoy the sites.

This is a small green area in a socialistic suburb that can hardly bring a traveller's experience. No need to plan it!

A relatively small park with a new Orthodox church in a big suburban area with new apartment blocks in Nis.
Compared to the large public parks laid out during socialism this one is small and rather crowded most of the time, as children from the surroundings have no where else to play. The new four lane boulevard is usually filled with cars. Between the flats cars as well. Not my cup of tea.

A bunch of cafes and kafanas in the area. As well as not that spacious green surface. Worth checking out if you are around

The park is located a bit further away from the centre of Nis. It is, however, in a city part that is very crowded, so it is a nice oasis amongst all the skyscrapers. One can go there to take a walk or simply relax surrounded by trees. Or you can go and drink a coffee in one of the numerous cafes.

Park for resting from walking and enjoying the beauty of nature, as well as a lot of small restaurants and cafes within their gardens.
