Take pictures inside and outside. Be careful walking on the cobble stones, slippery when wet. Great view of the small lake.

If you are strolling through Old Town Kotor find the steps near the front corners of the wall and you can ascend to the city walls. Has a great view of the Bay of Kotor, the mountains, and back down into the city as well....More

Very expensive, 8 euros per person. After 6:30pm you can visit for free. So why I visit at 5:30 pm, feel that my money is stolen

Well worth climbing whole path. It’s tough and challenging. Price of €8 per person is frankly speaking unjustified, but I enjoyed every bit and every step. Only after climbing it and seeing old town from different levels and angles you get to understand what it...More

It's amazing how these walls were built to withstand everthing over time. They climb high up the mountain to prevent attack from above and down to the water. Parts can be walked giving good views for the energetic.

We walked a portion of the old town walls, past many old build, converted to apts.....a lovely vantage point to watch the bustling market outside the walls, and enjoy finding our way down into the enclosed old town. Lots of quaint little streets and cozy...More

Walking on the walls is the the highlight of Kotor. If you are in decent shape, I recommend doing the whole 4.5km in the mountain. You will get some amazing views and be able to get nice pictures of the city

Fun to climb and almost as nice as the Dubrovnik walls, though they only go 3/4 of the way around the city. Walk from the North Gate to the South in 15 minutes. Your hotel or apt. host can tell you where you get up...More

The City Walls of Kotor is a really nice sight to see. You should take a few hours inside and wander around the old town.

Personally I'd say no. I don't remember seeing any children when I went last week. It's quite demanding... there are viewing points though before you get to the top, so maybe don't expect to be able to make it all the way... More
