Even in the middle of the winter there are lots of people in the square. There must be hundreds of restaurants within a few hundred meters from the square. This is a haven if you like small genuine restaurants with an atmosphere.

Old town is beautifully characteristic and many cool cafes around. No supermarkets or stalls and lots of things to see around. Try side streets of the square.

The shops are quaint, a bit touristy (how many more sweatshirts do people need?) and fun. Some do not let you try things on, but most are friendly.

My slow and very tiny transport that I been squished on since the Czech Republic border stopped in Lviv, aka Lvov. The journey was uncomfortable, the school kids at various points made the noise level go through the roof, but the city made the trip worth-while. Few English speakers, so be prepared for pantomime and a few laughs. Street musicians... More

Hi! I'm Anna. I want to tell you about my experience in very beautiful city - Lviv. I visited a few cafes, where I tried many coffees and chocolate cakes. It was really delicious! I walked along streets and see sights. I get a lot of unforgettable emotions. Also in this place you can buy many gifts for your relatives,... More

Old city of Lviv its something that you admire and don't even notice it. I find it realy greate place to visit. You don't even need know the history of city (but it's better to know it) you can just walk through the streets. The most important is to feel special atmothphere of city.

Old part of Lviv is very beautiful with very old buildings and places. I saw both catholic church as well orthodox. You can buy coffee easily, because there are a lot of small and big coffee shops in the streets.

We went here after hearing about what was there on a private tour. So we had a better idea of the history, which made it more fun to wander about. Narrow streets, churches, shopping, restaurants, architecture. Lots to see here. Enjoyed it!
