The incense, the music, the white space broken up by scenes of the judgment and return of Christ. Enjoy the view of the city, wide open spaces and a lovely park nearby. Cheers,

The Cathedral is located a bit outside of the very center of Lviv, so if you have only a day to enjoy Lviv and you're not taking an organized excursion, you can miss it. It would really be a pity not to visit St.Yura (also called the Cathedral of St. George), as it's one of the spiritual centers of Greek... More

I accidentally stumbled across this building and I'm glad I did. I didn't go inside but I snapped some cool pictures of the outside.

Byutifull location where traditions meet history. Mozart played his concert here, great sculptures from Pinzel were already presented in Paris and Vienna. Just 500 m from the city center you will find quiet location to enjoy your visit

This glorious building, the cathedral for the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church here, is a monumental structure, always filled with life. One can sense the true spirit of holiness here- there are many services during the day, and even when nothing is happening, a true sense of peace filled the space. The Liturgy,is always done beautifully, and the church it is... More

The cathedral can easily be reached from the center and it is good to take a walk as you can start admiring this monumental bulding from far away. Standing on a hill, it is surrounded by a lot of free, green space which adds up to the atmosphere. The church itself is not so big. It has a beautiful altar... More

Small church, but very well preserved with very interesting history. Altar section is very nice. It has in display one of the few "authorised" copies of the holly cloth of Turin.
