We walked all around this beautiful and very ornate Cathedral, admiring the carvings and décor. We postponed an interior visit as a very lively school party arrived at the same time as us.

I fell in Love with Sibenik. I'd been to the over crowded churches and sites of Dubrovnik. I got jostled and bustled around there and then saw Sibenik and fell in love. It has all the same beautiful old architecture, etc but it's much smaller...More

Currently undergoing major restoration. This was not advised when we purchased tickets. Not easy to navigate when busy (as it was) due to work.

Lots of different altars inside. Larger inside than it looks from the outside. You would hardly know it was rebuild since attacked in the 1990s

A small and beautiful cathedral that is currently undergoing some restoration. Made entirely of stone, this Gothic-Renaissance building is a Catholic Church with many sculptured details. Well worth a visit.
