Good all round museum. But the highlight was definitely the glass blowing demonstration - morning to early afternoon only.

While it’s not expensive to enter the museum there really isn’t very much of interest once you are inside, The current exhibition was ok, the other exhibits were less interesting and all too similar. On the top floor it looks like there may be the...More

This is a great historical museum. It shows the importance of glass through history and how massification and social use lowers prices for everybody. At one point in history glass was a gem, then it became utilitarian; today we see it everywhere. This museum shows...More

The collection of ancient glass is not perhaps world class, but the museum itself is very pleasant experience. Specially if you are a bit tired of strolling around in a hot day, freshness of elegant yet user friendly museum spaces will be real treat. Also,...More

We went on a family visit and were delighted by the museum setup and friendly and professional staff. Exibits are beautiful and impressive, but the music that starts playing when you walk into a room is what got me the most. At the second floor...More

This museum has a large collection of ancient glass from Roman times and some contemporary glass works as well. There are also explanations on the process of glass making. As I went in the late afternoon, there was no demonstration of glass blowing. It would...More

Zadar is redolent with history from antiquity to the modern era. It has yielded a treasure trove of Romam era glassware and the museum tells the story from the accidental discovery of glass to its use by the Romans with an astonishing and beautifully laid...More

Deserves all the positive reviews. The glass blowing demonstration is well worth it. Many exhibits of glass over 2000 years old. The craftsmanship is very impressive

Not much content that is different from other museums. Most of the stuff I just passed by quickly. There was an interesting exhibit. It took me longer to find it then the time I spent in it. Some interesting pieces but overall a miss.
