Some if the roman ruins in pula are in better condition than in rome itself. The forum is in great condition and interesting. There were not too many people in the square so we got excellent pictures. Not worth going inside though.

If you're interested in history and artifacts, this is definitely worth stepping into. It's much smaller than I anticipated inside (very tall, yes, but not much useful space otherwise) but the artifacts are well presented and I found them interesting.

Set on the market square, there are usually gladiators walking round in the roman dress, cool place to grab a coffe and disk up the atmosphere

Snap a photo at the pillars of the temple then grab a beer at a local cae in the square. Temple was smaller than expected but worth a quick visit.

It is unusual to find Roman temples intact as this one is, better preserved that many items in the Forum in Rome itself.
