You can't miss this if you're walking through Pula. The whole city is beautiful, and this huge arch adds to the atmosphere.

Well preserved Roman arch at the entrance to the old town. Look up when underneath to fully appreciate the detail. Not an attraction as such but nice to stop for a quick look.

The history behind this arch is fascinating, as are all triumphal arches of Roman antiquity. This is a must see for history buffs.

Considering how old this is and that is was created as a decorative item by a rich family...it is just beautiful. Surrounded by modern buildings the setting isn't perfect, but it's a very nice piece!
