You can't miss this amazing building when you are near. It's magnificent from the outside, but it's still worth to go inside. We rented audio guides, which are provided in many languages and cruised around the place. We made a mistake of renting just one, which was then hijacked by our sons, so I highly recommend to get more audio... More

It’s huge, it’s spectacular, we had it almost to ourselves. But there is very little info on line, we couldn’t even figure out when it was open – we asked at our hotel literally down the street and they didn’t even know when it opened (in March, 9 am). There is zero info inside, and the audioguides were not available... More

One of the best historical sights in the world. When it emerges in front of you, I mean WOW. I have recently been to Acropolis and have to say to have missed this emotion. There are no limits, nobody says you cant touch the stones, and it is free, The Arena is absolutely great. As a Croat, I maybe subjective... More

Last year we took a bus from Rovinj to Pula just to visit the arena. While not as big or famous as the Coliseum in Rome, the Pula Arena is much better preserved and the walls are complete around the entire circumference. Below ground, where the cages were once held the slaves and animals, there is a museum which is... More

The construction has around 1 block wide, all walls are up, you can walk around and see it all. In the summer there are events inside... definitely worth it!

Very interesting. The history was well documented. Very well preserved. It's easy to get to. Parking is easy. Recommend walking around old town as well as up to the fortress. Worth a visit for sure.

Outside of Rome, Italy and Arles, France, this is the best preserved arena I have seen anywhere. It's definitely worth a visit. The arena is located in the center of town, right by the harbor. It also makes for a great location to enter into your GPS if you are headed for Pula because there is a large parking lot... More

Damien Marley headlined the show. Was amazing! Great experience. Never been to a show in such a historical venue.

Incredible to walk through, better than Rome as you can sit and enjoy. You can feel the history. Neat museum underneath.

Very good experience. Cost was around 7€ for entry, and free roaming the arena is authorized. Make sure to check under the arena for more exhibits of pottery. Great time overall.
