This is a medieval fountain near the center of the Old City. It is pretty but its amazing for its size. You can actually drink the water, it is safe.

We were able to fill up our water bottles and drink from the fountain on a scorching hot day, the fountain is nice and provides relief in the summer. Free water as opposed to the crazy high prices for water in the old city.

If you are in the old city you can't miss this. If it's hot you can refil your bottles and cool down.

This fountain is one of the first sights you see when walking through the city gates. It is a working fountain giving clean fresh and importantly cool water to all who need it

if your bottle is empty stop right here and fill it with delicious cold water. This s also a fun spot to people watch because it's right by the entrance of the old town

I got a great photo with the refreshing water gushing from the sculptured mouths at 9:30 in the morning. A few hours later it was hard to get near the place. Don't miss it as you enter the walk on the city walls.

This landmark is not only beautiful but the drinking water is crystal clear and delicious. We filled our water bottles several times during our visit. It gets crowded in the area just inside the Pile Gate as it is a meeting point for many tour groups.

It's a great meeting place just in side the Pile Gate. Water is lovely and cold and tastes great. Lots of people there filling bottles up as its free.
