If you are looking for something more traditional or authentic this is not the place for you, the area appears to be being built up/remodelled with tourists in mind and there is currently a lot of building work happening. However the scenery is beautiful and...More

A nice change of scene compared to Dubrovnik old town. Well served by local buses and also within easy walking distance from our hotel. There is a small promenade, a pebble beach with sunbeds and a pedestrianized main thoroughfare lined with ample bars, restaurants and...More

We took the bus here from Hotel Lero, about a 10 minute journey. Nice beachfront. usual beach facilities. We had lunch in one of the seafront restaurants.

Lapad was only a short bus/taxi ride from the city but provided a relaxing place to stay. Plenty of places to eat/drink

Lots of nice walks and amenities within close walking distance. There are many good restaurants, supermarkets and bars here. There are also several cats, some of which are friendlier than others.

I can't compare it to Babin Kuk as we had read that it was an area for walking with campsites etc and thought it wasn't for us. Lapad had that small seaside resort feel with the usual attractions, but on a smaller scale, so... More
