This is the biggest and the most crowded road in Old Town. It has so many shops, restaurant, and ice cream around. To enjoy this place, I suggest to go early morning before everybody poured on the city itself.

I think the Stradun or Placa thoroughfare was the highlight of my recent visit to Dubrovnik. I very much liked the uniform nature of the street, with all the buildings along the street having the same ornate design. Look carefullu and you will see the...More

This large street is beautiful and full of little shops. It does however get very crowded occasionally.

Not much to say about the place Thoroughfare, it's a wide busy street leading from the Pile Gate. Packed with tourists so an excellent spot for people watching if that's your thing.

Well this is one of the busiest roads ever, the widest of all roads in the old town but you'll not move quickly! Lots of shops and restaurants line it, you can take a seat for coffee or lunch and watch the world go by!...More

If you go to the old town you will definitely cross this thoroughfare many times. My tip is see this early then hit the side streets. Gets very busy but has some great shops and cafes. We had a lovely time crowd watching.

As it is quite small and contained you can easily walk through the area in a brief time. Its architectural beauty is to be valued but it is marred by cheap tourist shops. What a pity but totally understandable. If you focus on walking the...More

Well worth walking up the steps and around the walls to get views all over the old town, sea and islands

You will onviouly walk along the strada if you are in Dubrovnik . Plenty of wonderful architecture but it is worth going up the narrow side strees to explore the bars and cafes that might be cheaper than stayin on the main drag

Dubrovnik Čilipi Airport has the code: DBV (not LIM). assuming that you mean to travel to DBV, as other have said transfers take 30-40 minutes and there are scheduled bus services from the Airport to the town. Of course... More
