As with most attractions in Dubrovnik timing is everything, once the cruise ships have disembarked Stradun gets very busy. We went either early about 8:30 or late after 18:00 and enjoyed hassle free access to enjoy the shops and architecture. In the evening musicians play...More

We arrived the day after torrential rain which left buildings and roads flooded. The old, worn limestone paving was slippery and the iron gratings had been turned upside down so they curved over the drains instead of lying flush with the gutters creating a trip...More

Yes, it's a very busy honeypot in an UNESCO world heritage site, so why not beat the crowd and just once in your holiday set an alarm and come down in the early morning? I came down at 7am, the light was beautiful for photography...More

We just loved the Stradun! Talk about great people watching! The best! People who have been to a concert, wedding, art gallery opening as well as backpackers and every type of person you can imagine. We loved sitting in Congo Stradun at the pavement tables...More

Nice street but mainly just full of your groups. The bars on this street are overpriced too. Much nicer visiting the side streets

So much history and beauty in one place. Entry to the city walls is located here just through the Pile Gate. Lots of shops and restaurants around as well. So clean too!

This is the main street. It tends to be crowded amd pickpockets may be at work. The street is lined with stores and restaurants. There is an entry gate at one end and a bell tower at the other.

Once you enter the main gate, this is the first view you get of Old Town Dubrovnik. With beautiful travertine marble paving (polished by many feet over the centuries) underfoot, this is the main thoroughfare of the Old City, with so much going on -...More

There is so much happening on the Stradun. Lots of shops, restaurants and landmarks to view. Great during the day and even better wandering after sunset.
