Go early in the morning as it can get busy and hot later in the day. Walk anticlockwise too as this is less hassle

I've travelled in all types of cities all over the world and never had this experience. Was so interesting to climb the stairs and walk the city walls. The views were quite extraordinary. Don't skip this if you come to Dubrovnik.

We had a great experience- even with groves of cruisers surrounding us. There are lots of stairs but the views are worth it. I think the experience would be made better with a tour guide.
