Beautiful views, but a long walk. Bring water! You can get off at several spots so you don't have to walk the entire wall. You do have to pay a few euros to walk the wall.

Beautiful views, it's quite an open area so wear protective hats etc. I imagine this being extremely busy in July/August, the walls aren't that wide...

Being only marginally fit and an avid stair hater I did hesitate at first, I am so glad I did it, albeit slowly at times. Look forward to a few cafes along the wall walk to rest and recuperate with fresh juice to keep you...More

A lovely walk around the walls for around 150 kuna per person. Fantastic views around the city and the old harbour. Avoid doing this in the midday sun as it's quite a lot of steps. Worth it though- Stunning

We read a previous review that said if you go closer to opening time of 8:00am you miss the swarms of crowds from cruise ships and buses and he was SPOT ON! We actually got to the walls around 9:30am and while there was 1...More

The walls and the whole picture offers an amazing view of the old town and the surrounding area, the castle wall walk was great. You can do some little stops to photograph here and there andd it is a must the visit to this part.

It takes about an hour and a half to walk the walls, but the views are well worth it. You have to climb about 100 steps to reach the wall so not for the faint hearted.

Enjoyed the views and the walk but were very unlucky to get caught in a major downpour - tickets at €21 euro are not cheap and you cannot re-enter which is a bit unfortunate as there was virtually no shelter available at the top.!! pity....More

Worth every single step. 150 Kuna entry. Thoroughly enjoyed. We went in October and it was quite busy, July and August are apparently mad, quiuing everywhere.

Intriguing place. Lots of eating places, reasonably priced with plenty of choice. A walk on the walls is a must.

I would definitely use a private guide who can help you cover as much ground as possible for your time in Dubrovnik. I will search my files for the name of the guide we had. Well worth the money. Larry

We walked along the walls at a leisurely pace took us about 1.5 hours. Did not see any guided tours on the walk, if so they must be in small groups. There are Loads of guided tours inside the city, such as " Game of... More
