Lokrum is a small island accessible by boat just offshore from the old walled city. Holders of the Dubrovnik card receive a discount on their tickets which I took advantage of and which I recommend. It seems that there is just so much to see...More

Beautiful island minutes away from Dubrovnik Old Town by ferry. Excellent oasis to spend an afternoon exploring, hiking for great views and photo ops as well as the restaurants serve delicious food and beverages.

Worth checking out but can be crowded and beaches aren't that special. the Game of Thrones exhibition is a little over rated.

Pretty place to visit but not as exciting as I expected. Landmarks are ‘bigged up’ like the natural pool. Was ok but the sea back on mainland just as nice. Perhaps better to visit when not as hot so can enjoy walking round the island...More

This island is worthy of a day trip from the city. If you are a bit more intrepid, jump a ferry over and do your own thing...the further you can get away from the other day trippers, the more interesting your trip will be.

This is the island where we had a swim. The baby rabbits came up to us and let us feed them some grass-it was fabulous, they are so tame and used to visitors. Also the peacocks just walk around and past you with their babies,...More

Pleasant and relaxing day away from the madding crowd of Dubrovnik. Good swimming areas, take snorkel and mask!

We took the taxi boat from the harbour in Dubrovnik. It takes about 10-15 minutes and return to Dubrovnik at various intervals throughout the day. We purchased tickets at the harbour. It was great to explore the island although the sign posts could be improved....More

Lokrum was most definitely one of the highlights of Croatia. From cliff jumping to playing with the roaming wildlife, there is no shortage of sights and sounds here. My only advice is to take an early ferry ride over to make sure you have enough...More
