Nice and beautiful place to stop. I wish there were a few more things to do though. Water is perfectly clear and clean! I couldn't speak to all the adventures and things to do on the island though.

We have fallen in love 4 years ago with Sudurad and Sipan Island when we were on a boat excursion from Dubrovnik. We can't get enough of the quiet fishing village, the rocky beach, the beautiful view from our apartment's balcony. For us this is Garden of Eden

We went here visiting on a tour, and it was a super cute and nice little fishing village. There are locals selling olive oil all around and small little boats to admire. The best part, just outside the village is the family vineyard, Oil and Wine! They make their own red wine and olive oil. The merlot wine is delicious and the cute granny who welcomed us was so nice! Definitely worth the walk of 700 m from the port. Plot in Puhijera 4 on the map and it will get you there. Enjoy!

I don't want to tell you about this gem of a place but I have to. It's beautiful, relaxing, amazing. Come eat Tapas and taste the family wine. We went for the Sime which is a Merlot. It's beautiful and the best glass if wine we have had on the island is Sipan. Do not miss the opportunity to visit this vineyard and meet the family. You shall be made so welcome it shall be difficult to leave or like us we just had to come back. Five stars all the way and many many thanks for your hospitality.

A great place to visit in Sudurad on the island of Šipan is the Wine and Oil tasting of the Daničić family. Taste 2 wines at c.£2.50 per glass with similar prices for tapas and olive oil.
Antonia will take you through the history and processes involved.
From the harbour area follow the brown sign/s to SV Ivan, passing a wine shop on the right and continue along the path for 300 metres / 5 minutes until you reach the sign at the first junction.

Sudurad is a village with a split personality: for about 6 hours per day it is overrun with tourist boats and then, for the remainder of the day, turns back into a sleepy fishing village.
While it is a beautiful location and well worth visiting, even for a day trip, staying in the village for a few days allows you to experience the real thing - a wonderful place to relax and unwind, with beautiful countryside to explore and unspoiled (if rocky) beaches to lounge on.

Revisited Sudurad after a brief stopover least year. It is in a great location, very picturesque plus there is a local family making their own red wine, which is very good.

Sudurad is a beautiful place but is spoiled by all of the tourist boats bombarding it.

Sipanska Luka, the other town on the island is totally different and we'll worth a visit.

Having been spoiled with the calm and tranquil setting of Sipanska Luka, we found Sudurad too busy. There were ferries coming in and out every five minutes, with eager sightseers flooding the village. Although very pretty, we found it too much for what we wanted and thought that it was being ruined by the mass of people coming and going so much.
