I know this beach is not totally hidden or off the beaten path, but it is much less touristy than others and we loved it! Upon our arrival in Dubrovnik, my family started searching for a beach to relax. Someone recommended nearby Banje Beach, but...More

Even though it's a bit of a hike (or bus ride) from the city center, Sveti Jakov is a great place to spend a day. You can buy drinks and food from the small restaurant, and there are plenty of lounge chairs (if you want...More

The Sveti Jakov beach is truly a hidden gem away from the Old Town's hustle and bustle. There's not much sand though, most of the beach is covered in pebbles so make sure to bring your flip-flops or Crocs. Renting the sunchairs and umbrellas costs...More

We spent an afternoon at this beach during May. It took us about 15-20min to walk there. There is a staircase you have to take to get to the beach. It's worth the steps!! There wasn't alot of people there and we could choose any...More

This little known (by tourists) beach is a 30 minute walk from the old town of Dubrovnik and well worth the trip. The beach is hidden along a dead end road and down a lot of stairs! Its location means that it looks back toward...More

We took an excursion with our cruise ship, which advertised a trip to the 'beach". The area is absolutely beautiful, the boat ride was fine, but once arriving at the "pebble beach", as our tour guide referred to it as, we were very disappointed. Because...More

Walked to the beach from the old town in a 20-30 min leisurely walk to get away from the crowds of tourists in the old town. Easy to get to on the the old coastal road passed all the waterside hotels.

Hello, I'm looking for a hotel with as private as is possible beach for adults swimming, ideally an outdoor pool as well. with excellent service but not outrageous price! A 4 or 5 star quality would be ideal not too far from old town.
