Lovely beach right by our hotel in Babin Kuk. We stumbled across it on our walk and was pleasantly surprised. Got some great photos and had a nice time sitting in the sun. Drinks on the beach are overpriced (about £9 for 2 cokes!) and...More

Sitting here in the shade sipping ice coffee $7 with a decent breeze. Killing time til room (15 min walk) is ready. It is crowded and noisy with lots of conversations. I’d swim except no suit. Water is magnificent.

Clear, clean, blue water. No crashing waves. Refreshing temperature. Comfortable loungers and umbrellas to hire. Tiny pebbles instead of sand that gets into everything. Really, what more could anyone want? Sea shoes are recommended for wading in and out of the ocean as it's rocky,...More

Beach is fine, but small and crowded. 250 kuna for 2x sunbeds. DO NOT EAT AT THE RESTAURANT. Food is small and very expensive. Ordered the burger with chips. Meal came out with legit potato chips from a packet. Paid 80kuna for a bottle of...More

Our day at the beach was lovely. We took and Uber to babin kuk (though there are frequent busses from the centre) and walked the short distance down to the beach. It was better than the other beach we visited as it was less steps...More

This is one of the better beaches in the city. Good facilities, loos are a bit manky, but the rest is great. Calm and beautiful waters, or just watch the ships come in.

Decided to treat ourselves to one of the big beds by the sea. Think £120 for 4 all day with complimentary cold fruit bowl. All 4 fitted and made a nice change from pebbles. Didn’t try cafe or service as brought a picnic with us....More

Food and drinks extremely expensive with very slow service. Paid £30 for a double sun bed for the day, I believe they were the cheapest available, however they weren't the rubbish plastic ones you find aboard, it had a thick mattress, fitted sheet and clean...More

We visited the beach largely due to the inflatable assualt course in the water (highly recommend). When we got to the beach we decided to have some food in the restaurant, this was a bad idea. The service was really bad the waiter was really...More

From memory, I don’t think there are any steps and it’s all tarmac’d or fairly flat. That’s the walk from Gruz Harbour. The walk to/from Lapad (the other direction) does I think have some steps.
