The Franciscan monastery had some very interesting items displayed and the inside was beautiful, but the size of the place made the entrance fee seem a little steep. I don't regret going because it is lovely; but if you only have limited time, skip it....More

This is advertised and billed as the "pharmacy museum" and it was on this basis that we went in and paid our 4 euros a head - pretty courtyard with spectaular grapefruit trees on entering, structural damage from the "homeland" war evident and proudly displayed,...More

This is a small, peaceful place. You pay a small fee to visit. I've visited other monasteries and this is similar in design to others I've seen, and is much smaller. What differentiates this from other is that it contains the oldest pharmacy. I personally...More

Well worth looking around. The pharmacy is still in use [extra exhibition at the Rector's Palace]. Really peaceful cloister garden inside. Even better as it's included in the Dubrovnik card deal.

Cool interior plaza with intricate sculpted collumn capitals and frescos of St Francis' life. The original old Pharmacy is intact (with a new working one nearby) and an attached small museum with a hodge podge of displays.

The monastery is very impressive in its design and interior beauty. The alters and statues are wonderful to witness and the colours add to a very sightly place that is relaxing and quiet.
