Occupying a lovely beach side location, guests travel by land and sea to get to Banje – there’s even a private pier to anchor your dingy, boat or yacht. During the day, this is a superb, seafood-orientated restaurant with a decent repertoire of Dalmatian and Mediterranean dishes. Ingredients are supplied from local producers and fish markets, and they take pride in their carefully curated wine-list. By night, Banje Beach transforms into a beach side nightclub as a perfect spot to dance the night away...

Easy walk from the old town walls. Clean with a great bar - must try the ice-cream with fruit salad! However, was pack, probably expected in mid August!

I agree with the other reviews: great view, nice location, but MUCH too crowded during peak season. I prefer taking a taxi or bus to one of the beaches or swimming spots on Lapad, but if you go to Banje I have one piece of...More

Peter the beach manager was very accommodating and very polite. The sun beds in the VIP section were very comfortable and the services they offer drinks and food were a great amenity. Make sure you visit Banje Beach

This beach (and the bar on it) is awful. We stopped in for a drink (and mainly to use the loos) after we'd spent most of the day on Sveti Jakov and regretted it almost immediately. Even just walking past you can see how dirty...More

We walked along from the old town and down the many obligatory Dubrovnik steps to this very nice but very busy beach. There is a huge bar and restaurant and sea kayaks, paragliding and banana boats. Plenty to watch and cool off in the sea

They couldn't have cramped anymore sunbeds into the space so it was insanely crowded, although it was peak season. That being said, the beach and view of Lokrum is great. I found waiting staff to be a little rude and not very attentive although as...More

Do not use this beach. We thought we would treat ourselves for a day to use the expensive looking sun beds. We paid £50 for two wicker sun beds. The umbrella was broken and when a gust of wind turned it inside out, we were...More

Great location just outside the city walls. Has a restaurant which we did not eat at. Rentals of kayaks, banana boats etc. Good place to enjoy the sun and the city.

Avoid this beach unless you like having someone else's toe in your ear and your toe in someone else's nostril. Granted, we went in high season (and walked after a visit to Dubrovnik old town) but it is not really a "beach" more like a...More

By Dubrovnik beach standards this was the most comfortable beach. All beaches in Dubrovnik are rocky; there is no sand. That being said the rocks here are small and less painful to walk on. We rented two chairs with an umbrella for 200 Kuna. The...More

Hi, personally I am trying to avoid Banje beach during the day, it so crowded, its better to go on the rocky side of old city. I prefer Banje early morning or in the evening. when the beach is almost empty. I think if the... More
