About
Occupying a lovely beach side location, guests travel by land and sea to get to Banje – there’s even a private pier to anchor your dingy, boat or yacht. During the day, this is a superb, seafood-orientated restaurant with a decent repertoire of Dalmatian and Mediterranean dishes. Ingredients are supplied from local producers and fish markets, and they take pride in their carefully curated wine-list. By night, Banje Beach transforms into a beach side nightclub as a perfect spot to dance the night away...

Went to Banje Beach due to its reputation. Had dinner reservations but called in mid-afternoon for a couple of drinks. Found a table then waited, and waited, and waited. Others than came in after us were served. Don’t mind waiting 10/15 minutes for service but this dragged on for 25/30 minutes, so we left.
There was sufficient staff there so that was no excuse.
Not sure what their reputation is based on, but it isn’t customer service that’s for sure….. oh, and we cancelled our dinner reservation that evening too.

Really disappointing beach, given all the great reviews what we were not expecting was murky water, rubbish on the beach and showers you have to pay for. Having come from various Croatian islands where the beaches are beautiful this was a real let down. Hoping we can find somewhere else nicer on our next day here…

After a day in the old town and a cable car ride we was delighted to find a sandy beach to sit and relax.
I found the staff to be rude impatient and very ignorant. The price of the beds were a total rip off £17 each and above average prices for the drinks.
My partner and I are very well travelled and never have come across this before in some absolutely beautiful parts of theworld!
Most definitely will not be using their services again

Avoid this beach at all cost, to have to pay £34 for 2 sunbeds is clearly a rip off, drinks are very expensive, this is croatia not monte carlo, rough sand, big boulders if you wanna sit on sand , toilets and bar average at best , toilet doors hanging off, staff ignorant and dont listen , all round a rip off joke

An absolute wonderful experience with my friends from LA! We came to the cleanest beach I’ve ever been to with crystal clear waters and the hosts were amazing. Dom and Tomi were so nice and approachable, helping us around and taking care of us with everything we needed. The waiters were very friendly and the bar was very nice. Looking forward to coming again soon when I’m in Croatia and loved the all-around experience!! Highly recommend!

Pretty arrogant and impudent staff on the pay-beach. me and my wife been shocked when the beach-boy tell us to approached to his table to pay sunbeds and umbrella.
He didnt make a step in our direction. This couple -son and his father to be fired.
free beach - almost all umbrellas for hire are broken/ No one take care. Restaurant
menu is modest and pretty costly (espesially drinks)

Had a lovely meal here, the filet steak was incredible and the wine was the perfect accompaniment. They had live music on and he was great, took requests and interacted with guests. His shaggy impression was spot on. Highly recommend visiting if in the area!

We had the best time at Banje Beach. The service from the wonderful Alex was amazing. He even went beyond to help us with reservations and recommendations! I would 100% recommend requesting him and making a trip to Banje Beach! So worth it!

We rented chairs/umbrellas and ordered drinks. There was a wide range of people from families to couples, There was an area that people could jump from some rocks, not too high. The water is clear and calm. Easy walk from Old Town.

Mixed feelings about this place and the 3/5 is because the sunbeds are so expensive.
You can go and sit on the non beach club part of the beach and not have a sunbed but that is not ideal. Or you go and you pay the beach club.
In September 2021 the plastic sunbeds are 200 kuna for 2 beds and an umbrella, the wooden sunbeds are 300 kuna for 2 beds abd an umbrella. We felt this was expensive compared to Kos for example where beds are free or about 2.5 euros.
The sea is lovely- pebbles and quickly becomes deep. The beach is quite crowded and Sandy/pebbly (but we expected this) and we were unlucky enough to have some people who played their own music even though there was beach club music (not too loud) but thankfully didn’t last long - just rude though.
Beach club drinks are very expensive.
We won’t rush back but it’s convenient for the old town.
