We chose the option to peak come by car, for us it is the cheapest and easiest option. The view is unique and neonovljiv. If you have an hour of surplus required to climb on Srđ because this is a moment to be remembered for a lifetime.

The cable-car starts a little way out of town and the ques ridiculous (pricey too, no doubt) so after a little research - thanks TA - we decided to catch a small bus (17 I think) to the village of Bosanka near the top of Mount Srdj, and walk the last half mile to the station. The building is modern... More

If you don't want to stand in the long line, but the ticket at the city wall entrance (I bought it at the center entrance). On the top you can have very nice panorama of Dubrovnik Old City and some others islands

The walk up is difficult to find the start of but it is fairly easy gradient with some 20 zigzags and offer great views across the city. As it is quite stony it is probably easier walking up ((0 minutes) than down. Hence the value of the Ropeway

This is a must. I am scared of heights but I was not going to miss this. You go up in the cable car with plenty of other people so safety in numbers! The Homeland War Exhibition at the top is a must and we also had a glass of wine in the outdoor restaurant and admired the views. Worth... More

In my humble opinion, mount Srdj rope-way is NOT a "must" kind of thing to do during Your stay in Dubrovnik, especially if you should wait too long, because of hundreds of tourists that are standing in a line before you. Just do not waste your time. it is much more interesting to make a walk on the city walls.

Mount Srd is located behind the walled city of Dubrovnik and one of its claims to fame are the fantastic view of Dubrovnik, the Adriatic Sea and Lokrum Island. Lokrum is where the Game of Thrones was filmed. Amazing views!

The exhibition is in an old medieval fort that overlooks the whole of Dubrovnic. The photos were well presented and showed the full story of this period in their history. It is spread through several rooms with each having a different theme i.e. combatants, civilians, destruction of the buildings etc. and gives a very moving representation of the struggle. To... This is a must in Dubrovnik. It is not too high you can get there by foot, car or short cable car ride. View is fantastic, you have whole Dubrovnik on your palm, nearby islands and mountains. Sunset is wow. You have restaurant and coffee shop up there. There is museum of Homeland war, buggy rent, etc
