This tour will take you to the most beautiful European park, protected by UNESCO since 1979, as a World Natural Heritage. In NP Plitvice nature has created 16 lakes and connected them by amazing travertine waterfalls. The National Park covers the surface of 29685 ha, where lakes take up to 200 ha, while forest covers the rest of the park. One of the attraction is the 78 meters high waterfall.

If you are going arrive as the gates open, no later, you will be able to stop, view, admire and not hold up up the 20,000 people per day who visit. Or tramp for a few days. I cannot see any point in visiting otherwise....More

this place is so amazing. the water is so fresh and unpolluted. you can see large fish at the jetty. the waterfalls are so tranquil and beautiful. wooden walkway are set up appropriately to avoid any damage to the natural environment. great place to visit....More
