It's a good place for promenades. After you finish the walk and checking the boats and yachts you can stop for a coffee in one of the numerous and welcoming cafes.

The Riva, as it is called, is a large open space next to the old harbour . There is a long esplanade next to the water and locals and tourists alike stroll along this pleasant pavement, great for people watching. Lawned green spaces separate the promenade from the long row of cafes and restaurants which are always crowded.

A pleasant harbour with a wide boulevard to walk down on a pleasant day. There are shops bars and restaurants along the length of it. A nice stop off on a warm day.

Very busy harbour with an interesting selection of ships, boats and yachts. I loved it, but it probably wouldn't excite landlubbers.

We were holidaying in Baska Voda and decided to take a bus trip here which took about an hour. The bus station is in the heart of everything and easily accessible by walking to lots of bars, shops and restaurants. It's just such a shame that as you are sat enjoying the fantastic views the harbour has to offer that... More

I have been using this port for island trips and when catching ferries to and fro Italy over the past ten years. The harbor has been improving constantly over the years, and now boasts berthing facilities for two or more cruise ships 8-10 stories high and 200mt length. Apologies for these rough description, but I'm no seaman and have no... More

Nice Riva with lots of restaurants and cafés. The harbour is really nice. It's cool to see all the massive cruise liners coming in and out.

Stunning medieval harbour. Go back one road full of good restaurants and bars. Walk around the medieval harbour in the evening is highly recommended. Would come again.
