After a disappointing start at Kasjuni beach we had a nice afternoon at Bene Beach. Quiet and relaxing. It's not a beach, more forest meets the sea with a few areas for sun beds but the sun beds were good value at 30kr each. Lots...More

Take bus 12 from St Francis church (buy a ticket from the little kiosk by the bus stop and stamp it when you get on the bus) This is a pretty little beach away from the hubbub and tourist bustle of Split - much prettier...More

A beautiful view and peaceful. Not very sandy and a little rocky, but when you venture into the grassy sea areas lovely underfoot. Beds are only 30kuna per day and there is a bar and ice cream vendor there for snacks and drinks.

Didn't stay very long as we were starting our kayaking from here, so it was more of a meeting place. From what I saw, a small family beach with facilities such as toilets, tennis courts and children's inflatables. It is reached by the 12 bus...More

A wonderful haven during the busy season with restaurant, bar, ice-creams, play areas, kayaks, tennis courts and water sports. Bus number 12 from the promenade takes you right there.

There's no sand here, so perhaps it shouldn't be called a beach...but it has all the advantages of both a beach and a swimming pool. It has loungers for hire which you can set up in your own little space between outcrops of rocks under...More

We went to the information desk (fantastic help we got there, located in the center of the Diocletian's Palace) and they recommend this beach. Sadly we only went the last day, we loved it there. It's warmer than the beaches along the Adriatic coast, seems...More

Really enjoyed visiting this beach and felt much more away from the other tourists. It does get busy with locals and a lot of children but has many rock bays along from the main section that you can feel much more secluded. It has a...More

You can definitely take a picnic the beach is pretty small but there is shade under the trees next to the beach or there are places all around that cove.
