Galerija Mestrovic is in a lovely location with a beautiful view of the sea. His home is very impressive and his collection of sculptures is interesting.

Worth the visit and go to know Croatia's most noted artists. He was also the scuptor of the city's Grgur Ninski statue right in the centre of town. It is the largest collections of his work to-date.

buses pass the gallery and short taxi ride won't cost much -it is not far but up hill from the town
