Charming theatre building, project of Austrian architects, mid 19th century Recently refurbished and well maintained. Hosts many interesting performances, very strong local opera and ballet companies, international guest stars, classic and pop. Must visit in Odessa

A group of us went to the amazing Opera and Ballet theatre. We saw the ballet - Les Sulphides that was excellent. The theatre is an impressive building with a French style auditorium. Well worth a visit for the architecture alone.

A must-visit attraction. One of the most beautiful opera houses preserved in Europe. I would say one should buy a ticket only to see the interiors. The ticket price is reasonable, it is literally possible to buy a place for 1,5 Euro and one for...More

The quality of the singers is a little variable but the location is incredible. Be sure to have a glass of local champagne in the interval
