It is an architectural masterpiece, a must visit when in Odessa. The building is very beautiful. The acoustics is great, listening to music and singing is a real delight here. It is the second best opera house in the world.

11$ is the most expensive ticket unless it's a concert of some famous guest.
Hi everyone, i am definitely interested in seeing a performance, preferably ballet in May 2016, that's when i will visit. I checked the theater website and there was no info for May yet, so far only performance is only available through February. Do you know when i can expect the new calendar to be available. it would be helpful if you can tell me which performance you saw on your trip, just curious to know. Thank you in advance.

I believe they only have a month or so available prior to the performance. So check back around the end of March or the first of April. The opera I attended was Prince Igor which I enjoyed very much.
