Casa Santo Domingo is so beautiful. It has amazing architecture, beautiful gardens and great museums. Sadly, we were only there for the day because we were on a cruise ship. Fortunately, we went to Antigua on our own and had several hours in this lovely city. Our private guide took us here and gave us as much time as we... More

Went for lunch and we order the chicken with ravioli, the penne pasta and the soup. All was very savory and the presentation of the dishes was very nice.

I wish I would have stayed at Casa Santo Domingo. Definitely for next time I visit Antigua. However, I did get to have breakfast and visit the museums.

Casa Santo Domingo will make you feel the environment of colonial Antigua Guatemala with the best service and attention to detail. You will enjoy both, the city and your home away from home. There is no better place to stay!

So pretty. There was lots to see and enjoy. Take your time and look around after dusk. They light a lot of candles.

The setting here is an ancient monastery, complete with someone distributing incense. Everything item was prepared perfectly with lovely presentation. Service was a bit leisurely. Don't skip dessert.

Beautiful spot. Worthwhile to wander thru the hotel grounds and pay the entry (48 per person) This allows you entry to all exhibits on the grounds All exhibits have dual english and Spanish explanations. We spent 4 hrs here and the took the free shuttle up to the associated El Tenedor restaurant. Nice views and interesting outdoor art displays. You... More

Had the pleasure of spending a week at Casa Santo Domingo & it was nothing short of magical. From the moment you walk thru the entry door you are immersed in history. Ruins and museums are everywhere on the property. The owners have mastered converting this one time monastery into a luxury hotel with an atmosphere beyond imagination. Will post... More

Did not expect what I found. Such a tranquilizing paradise. Peaceful, trees, bushes, ground, birds. There are ruins but everything is covered or intermingled nicely with sourrounding nature. There is a hotel and restaurant. I wish to be accommodated here ...
