it is a nice walk. more difficult than it is said. hikking shoes recommanded. view is great if no cloud. Not the best hiking experience but nice thing to do. The marshmallow experience is a nice thing to do too!

Beautiful volcano with many tours available. Roasting marshmallows at the top was great! It is a bit of a hike- be prepared :) the lava rocks and views are incredible. Guatemala is beautiful!!

Nice view and worth it if you go for a.Cheap $10-15 usd tour. Not the most stunning place but roasting marshmallows over the heat was fun

Yes they would burn some energy, see a live puffing volcano and become interested in geology AND roast marshmallows inhot lava! What more could you want?
