I enjoyed the experience of hiking a volcano and I loved the spectacular views especially the views of the erupting El Fuego volcano that could be seen clearly from the top of Pacaya. We used a tour guide from Antigua, Olga Guzman who was professional...More

We enjoyed the hike up and down Pacaya. After the hike we visited Santa Teresita Hot Springs for our muscles. It was a great day!

Amazing Views of Guatemala. Recommend doing it on Horseback. Roasting Marshmallows on the Volcano was a first for me. Volcano rumbled a few times.

I did this with several friends that are not hikers. They hired a horse at the bottom and rode up to the top. The top gives you a view of fresh lava fields. The guide we had was good and the boys with the horses...More

It was rated as difficult, it was a bit long to get to the top, hard walk, but worth the trek. The views were awe inspiring. We saw the huge lave field, the lava store, had the option to roast marshmallows over the lava tube....More

There are guides there that you can hire when you arrive. The horses are always there for you to use for a fee. Enjoy
