We drove through town on a tour bus, but did not stop. the town is very pretty and charming. If you don't bring your car to Nantucket, the main way to get there is either by the island bus or by bicycle. I don't think the the tour buses stop there. There is a general store and a restaurant in... More

Not as rough as other Nantucket beaches and wider than most, Siasconset beach is a nice Long Beach, where your seemingly can walk for miles. An additional plus is that there are some nice restaurants in town and a bar at the Summer House right on the ocean a little ways up. And don't miss the interest clock on the... More

Located on a more remote part of the island, the visit provides you with a very different flavor than downtown. Highly recommended

really, really amazing. The Sconset Bluff Walk begins in Siasconset which is a bus ride from Nantucket Harbor. The trail is a narrow dirt path all along the bluff that literally winds through the back yards of gorgeous mansions with the beach and views on the right.

Gorgeous beach in a gorgeous village. Charming cottages and estates with immaculate gardens abound. Yummy sandwich shop to take lunch to the beach. Proper restrooms in the village. Great deal watching from the shore.

Good place to go for a walk on the beach with family and kids. A beautiful setting. We saw quite a bit of sea life on our visit.

Very rough surf, seal swimming 15 feet from shore. Walk forever. Nice. Benches, playground across the street for little ones.

A truly relaxing, calm peaceful time. A day spend laying in the sand, walking in the surf, and reading. Dogs are welcome. It felt like we has our own private beach Not the best for swimming. Dangerous rip tide.

I wish this beach was a little bit cleaner but instead the water was dirty and full of seaweed and the sand on the beach was dirty too. It was a pretty busy beach so we only stayed for an hour and then left and did not go in the water.
