Apparently a lot of people enjoy wandering around this old town, but there's really not a whole lot to see that makes the trip there worthwhile. The houses are cute, but not that unique. The beach is nice. We went in the off-season, when only...More

No sand bar. Dangerous undertow. Tons of seaweed and occasional seal. Beautiful and uncrowded as long as you don't need to swim. Sometimes good fishing

Full of red sea weed as it always is. So easy to get to if you are staying in Sconset, but there are much nice beaches to go to.

Great beach, wide open, sandy. The beach town is so comfortable and relaxed, beautiful natural scenery and the houses are so well kept.

Rode bikes to the beach after seeing the lighthouse. Sat down on the sand and enjoyed a fairly empty beach on a Sunday evening. Saw numerous seals stick their heads out of the water to scan the beach. Very enjoyable.
