This property now owned by the Trustees of Reservations is the former property of William Bullitt--the first U.S. Ambassador to the Soviet Union.A magnificent setting in the peaceful hills plus a trail for hiking and walking. A place for solitude.

Bucolic spot for hiking or bird watching. Large wild flower meadow hosts hundreds of birds for viewing. Pick a spot on the meadow edge, get quiet, and you'll get lots of great photographs of birds perching on the tops of flowers.

Why did it take me two years to find this special place after moving to western Mass? When we have some time on the weekend, one of my favorite things to do is to stop by and pick flowers, especially dahlias--they have a wonderful, colorful garden that visitors are welcome to harvest from--and of course, once there, we usually have... More
