This is a beautiful monument and well kept grounds with fantastic views of the coast line. There is a board walk and fantastic opportunities to take photos of the great coast line or have a picnic in the grounds.

It is worth the drive to the northern part to the island to see where Cook first sighted Norfolk and claimed it for the English crown. The boardwalks and grassy areas are great and it goes without saying that the views and wildlife are stunning. I'd pop into the Bedrock Cafe on the way home and see the cliffs from... More

The spectacular views from this spot. Along the coastline and the named rocks as well. You can see Bedrock Tea house from here. Plenty of parking and well worth the visit.

It would have been easy to stay for hours and watch the birds and the view. Why are the best roads on the island in the National Park?

Amazing views, historic information, and hundreds of birds of all breeds wheeling and calling just over our heads and all around us. Just wonderful. We were very lucky that a young man who knew a lot about birds was there taking photos of them - he gave us a running commentary of bird species and habits. Even without the commentary... More

This is the opposite side of the island to the old penal colony and ruins at Kingston. The views from this point is one not to miss, theres also tables and a barbie for those who want to spend more time soaking up the incredible views.

The views from here are amazing, and this is also the start of the Bridle Trail which is a stunning walk. To do the whole Bridle Trail you need a car at each end, so we did the first half of the trail and then did the red rock trail and the bird trail before walking back the way we... More

A very peaceful well-maintained spot, with ample parking and including clean toilets, picnic tables, boardwalk and history information boards. The short walk down to the actual monument is on a slight grassy incline but should not present a problem other than in wet weather. The views from up on a cliff top were wonderful and well worth the drive. Would seem... More
