I noticed the beautiful orange tiles of the building as I was walking through the Bazaar. I learned that it was the Suli Han, partly a Students School of Arts while other half of the building is a museum.
Various items are on display, maps, typical room of a house, some musical instruments, history of vest making, etc. What interested me most are the explanations on the walls about the history of the Bazaar. They are both in local language and English!
During my visit, I was the only one there, no other visitors, no staff was around!

It was built in the mid-15th century. The name of the han is derived from the Turkish "Su" which means water. The word "sulu" means "with water/watery" This name was probably chosen because a small river used to run near the han. During the Ottoman Empire, the Suli An was a classic city han for travelers and traders with their caravans.
