This monument to a great American with its "Equal Justice" reminder is appropriately located near the Maryland State House. It's a beautiful spot and there are benches from which to sit and admire. Notice the smaller statues of children looking on. Well done, Maryland.
Great memorial area and reflective time spent at a tremendous treasure in Maryland history and the nation, Fantastic town to walk to amazing sites such as this memorial. Excellent time spent by family and friends.
Thurgood Marshall was a young attorney from Baltimore who took a case to the Supreme Court and won. The ruling desegregated the schools of America. This young attorney went on to become the first African-American Supreme Court Justice.
