We took a walking ghost tour of downtown, and part of it stopped here. Our guide explained the history of the house, and also told us about a poor young woman's body who was found there during some late 19th century construction. This to me is the architectural gem of colonial homes in Annapolis of which there are many. It was recently acquired by the Historic Annapolis Foundation and has seminars and other events there but I don't believe it is open to the public. The interior (if you get to enter) has some incredible millwork.

The big Brice house is a beautiful colonial mansion that is now owned by the state of Maryland and occupied by offices of Historic Annapolis.
