I was involved with the Vietnam Memorial many years ago and wanted it to remain maintained, as well as taken care of on a regular basis. The park looks good and it is a nice place to walk around.

A hidden treasure in the midst of Augusta. A wonderful place to walk or have a picnic or walk your dog or just relax during lunch or your break.

I walked the perimeter of Capitol Park after I posted my first reply. If you walk along the path in the park it is about .4 miles and for me, 965 steps. Hope this helps.
