For a smallish town such as Alexandria, the zoo is actually pretty impressive. I have not really had any interactions with staff at the zoo so I cannot speak to that but it is a nice, fun place to take the family for an outing.

its a perfect place to take kids to see different animals. they have a perfect place to have picnic there. only thing i didnt like is the peacocks roaming around free on the walking trail. overall this zoo is good
